I worked on a team of five to test MIPS+ (Mobile Integration Provisioning System). Testing of MIPS+ used my knowledge of LDAP, TCP/IP, SNMP and cellular networks. During this six month contract we validated the system to meet the telecom standard five 9’s level of reliability and will be handing MIPS+ over to the national operations group to be implemented into the nation wide at&t cellular network. I contributed in finding flaws in the implementation of SNMP that could have flooded the monitoring system with traps during system outages.

of Amber Alerts system in Cingular’s network. I implemented a monitoring package to graph
usage of the Syntrgra and Logica SMPP gateways, this required writing custom
scripts to retrieve XML data and transform the data into what the graphing
package required. I was part of the team
that impemeted and monitored the American Idol 4 and 5 applications and
voting. I currently provide support to
ESME’s as they are certifying to access the Cingular SMS network.
